GEERTOP 2P 4-Season review
Best for: Two campers on cold, windy or shoulder-season trips
A two-door, two-vestibule 4-season dome with a snow skirt for cold or windy nights; at 6.9 lb it is not ultralight, and 55 in is too narrow for a queen airbed.
Two aluminum poles make a freestanding double-wall dome with an 82.6 x 55 in floor and 45 in of height. The 210T ripstop polyester fly is rated PU 3000 mm, the floor PU 5000 mm, seams are taped, and a snow skirt seals the base. Each side has a D-shaped door and a 24 in wide vestibule. GEERTOP lists 6.9 lb, and it packs to about 17 x 7 x 7 in.
Good
- Two doors and two vestibules: no climbing over your tent mate
- Snow skirt, taped seams and a PU 5000 mm floor for cold, wet ground
- Aluminum poles; packs to about 17 x 7 x 7 in
Watch for
- 6.9 lb is heavy for a two-person tent
- 55 in floor width fits two pads, not a 60 in queen airbed

Best for: A solo camper, or a close pair, who wants a small, light tent
A light, small-packing tent at 4.25 lb, but the single front door and 51 in width make it tight for two adults and too narrow for a queen airbed.
The Base is Naturehike's polyester version of the Cloud Up: a freestanding double-wall tent on a one-piece aluminum pole frame, with the inner hanging from hooks. The fly is 210T ripstop polyester rated PU 3000 mm, and a PU 5000 mm footprint is included. The inner is 82.7 x 51.2 x 41.3 in with one front door and vestibule. It packs to 15.7 x 5.1 in and weighs 4.25 lb packed.
Good
- 4.25 lb packed, 15.7 x 5.1 in packed size: fits any corner of the trunk
- Footprint included (210T polyester, PU 5000 mm)
- Freestanding, so it pitches on gravel pads and wooden platforms
Watch for
- One front door: the inside sleeper climbs over to get out
- 51.2 in wide and 41.3 in tall: snug for two adults, no queen airbed
